Amour Amour

Amour Amour was the inaugural Super Fancy Supper Club. We were inspired to start this tradition under the influence of its delicious tapas. So if you’ve found your way to this site, you can thank Amour Amour. Like many of the restaurants we visit as part of Super Fancy Supper Club, Amour Amour is one that some of the group had already visited. It was a regular spot for two of us, and we were excited to share it with friends (a core tenet of this club).

One of the things that stands out about Amour Amour is the staff. The service is absolutely amazing, and even when the restaurant is busy, you are well taken care of. This may not be obvious on your first visit, but this is the kind of place where they remember you, often even after just one visit. They had remembered the two of us who had been before and welcomed us back every time we returned, making it feel like we were coming back to a familiar and comfortable place.

The tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing and conversing with friends. Everything was phenomenal. If you have a group, the paella is great for the table and provides a nice “main” to share. The crostini are a fun addition and offer a nice variety, particularly if you like truffle. You can’t really go wrong anywhere on the menu.

We were so happy to be able to share this experience with friends, so much so that it started a tradition that continues to this day.
